Finally Getting Some Rain Today!

We are finally getting some much needed rain today. So far, we have got about 3/4 inch of slow rain and every drop has soaked into the dry ground. We could use 2 or 3 more inches, but I thank the Good Lord for every drop we get.

Us too!!! Got 2.01" over the last 2 days... All the heavier rain was just north of us (dang it), but we too are thankful for what we got.

Ended up getting 3.4 inches of rain yesterday and last night. The majority of the rain came after dark.

We got about 3 inches and it was much needed!! Got my fall garden in this evening.

We got 1.13" yesterday & it's raining again right now (.31" thus far!!!). Looks like it could continue for a while... We need it bad.

Thus far we have had 3.74" & more is on the way!!! I figure it should be here about 1730hrs!!! Man, this is GREAT day!!!



No grilling tonight... looks like sandwiches & stuffed japs in the oven (I don't want them to go bad).

Got another 1.6" yesterday!!! Chance are looking good for more on Wednesday/Thursday (prediction is another 1.7").

Totals thus far for October: 8.92"!!! For 2013: 33.00".

Been a good couple of days here, got .78" yesterday & 2.47" thus far for today & more on the way.

Totals thus far for October: 12.17"!!! For 2013: 36.25". Tanks are filling up!!!

Between yesterday and today, me have had over 5 inches of rain. I don't know how much over 5 inches since my rain gauge only measures up to 5 inches. I know I am thankful and I hope everyone got the rain they needed.

We got a good amount of rain last night but fared much better than our western kentucky folks with several tornadoes hitting yesterday around Paducah.
