Yup that's right, I got wood for the garden. For the new raised bed.

Little blurry but it's a good start for a raised bed which will be 4x8' and just a little over a foot tall. Will be made from 2x4 and 1x4 cedar wood.

The lumber mill said they normally sell out pretty early and have a long waiting list so went ahead and picked it up so I'll be ready in the next month or so to start building! :D

May want to raise them up off the concrete & space them out a little so the air can continue to dry them out... that will help to get them stabilized now while the air is relatively dry. Don't forget to pre-drill your holes while assembling them to avoid splitting... the heartwood is pretty tough.

That will be a good project &your family will reap the benefits for your efforts!

Yeah I re-stacked them yesterday for that reason. Just had to quickly unload them because the wife wanted to leave. Once work gets started on the bed I'll be sure to post pictures.
