So computer gurus my AVG is aboot to expire. Who makes a reasonable to good anti virus for Win7 without being too expensive? We've gone the last two or three years with free AVG or Avira.

Thanks

@Mr_Yan I normally use BitDefender on my customers computers and have had great luck with them. Kaspersky is also very good, in fact both Kaspersky and BitDefender is ranked very highly with av-comparatives.org, an independent antivirus review.

In my opinion, anti-virus is a small part of the protection needed now on many desktops. Something that blocks adware/malware such as MalwareBytes is something I would also highly suggest getting. They offer a free version but the paid version is what I would suggest as it offers real-time protection and automatic update and scanning scheduling.
