It's 87 degrees here, way too hot for this time of year..

Put a roll of hay out for the cattle.

Culled the weaker plants in the flats & then watered most of the greenhouse.

Fed the cattle.

Cut the grass & finished just in time as it started raining.

Made cheese enchiladas for supper since we still have pinto beans.

A chilly 55 degrees with a 15 mph north wind today...

Research another pet barrier, this time one that goes behind the front seat to keep Dieter's slobber off of me during these PT trips...

Burned the accumulated cardboard.

Formed & fertilized the rows for the green beans, green onions, cilantro, radish & cantaloupe. Also prepped the area where the Italian basil will be planted, then watered the entire garden.

Mrs. Ranch is doing better that I expected. She cooked her 1st complete meal since her incident with very little assistance, a meatloaf & mashed potatoes!!!

Took Dieter to the vet's for his yearly vaccinations & checkup.

Installed the barrier behind the front seats of my Jeep to keep Dieter from slobbering on us during our long drives.

Watered the flats in the greenhouse.

Worked on my cookbook.

Hey, Ranch.. hope all is well. I built 4 new raised garden beds 4'x8'x2' and a few others that re 2'x8'x2'. Gonna go pick up a load a mushroom mulch and garden soil to fill em.. Starting over smaller this year. Looking at watering systems as well.. finally got the kids all out of the house and will hopefully have more time for the garden.

Got these set in place today. Now for a huge amount of garden soil. Also mowed and went and rescued a swarm of bees from the little league park.

Those look great. Good idea with the mushroom compost/ garden soil. I bought 15 yards about a month ago for my tubs. Been using it for three years now.

Ranch we don’t have the same mail person out of Weimar but mine is hard to beat. I’m rebuilding an older Weber gas grill and parts are coming in. I leave my gate open and the lady drives up to almost my front porch. Some of the boxes are heavy. I can always tell when she has a sub driver as mail has been left out in the elements.

Just got back from 5 days in Tennessee. Showed the family all the hills and had some good food and beer. Arrived back home to a disaster. Hail storm hammered my truck. Lightning killed the internet router, my primary PC and a machine monitor. All of these were on pricey surge protectors. In the process of picking out a new PC.

Add a year old refrigerator to this list.
