Fed the cattle & put out another roll of hay.

Pre-drilled the holes for mounting the lettering & Texas Stars on the new sign. Now it's ready to be primed, so I did the backside of it.

Watered the plants in the greenhouse.

It was 32 degrees this morning, but it's a sunny 55 degrees now.

Flipped the new sign & primed the front of it.

Assembled a small shelving unit for the herbicides that I store in the garage.

Put a light on my flag pole that was a Christmas gift. Talked to hunter on the ranch behind me. They have not shoot anything. Too many acorns plus stray dogs running around. Full moon hasn’t helped this week.

Another nippy 34 degrees here this morning, but it's sunny & got up to 50 degrees this afternoon... I'll be glad when the wind lays down.

Fed the cattle.

Applied the last coat of paint to the back of the new sign.

Fed the cattle.

Made a white cake with vanilla frosting for dessert.

Started a loaf of sourdough bread for tomorrow.

The paint on the back of the new sign is dry, so I flipped it over & applied the 1st coat to the front side.

Finished making the sourdough bread.

Went to the doctor's office to have my blood work done prior to my yearly wellness check.

Applied the final coat of paint to the front side of the sign.

Fed the cattle.

Received 0.26" of rain.

Still intermittently drizzling here (0.02") & a chilly 47 degrees. It's an ugly day...

The final coat of paint on the sign is dry, so I started installing the the Texas stars & the eye hooks. Then started dry fitting the new lettering to make sure everything lines up.

Permanently mounted the lettering on the new sign. Tomorrow, when it's cured, I will turn it over to Mrs. Ranch so that she can paint a few sprays of wild roses on the ends (she likes artsy-crafty stuff).

Watered everything in the greenhouse.

Fed the cattle.

Started raining during the night (0.85" thus far).

Did the weekly shopping & topped off the fuel in my Jeep.

Watered everything in the greenhouse.

We ground 10 pounds of sirloin & formed it into patties. After they're frozen, we'll vacuum pack them.

Cleaned the filters on the kitchen exhaust fans.

Fed the cattle.

Watered the plants in the greenhouse.

Mrs. Ranch is busy making a stencil for her sign embellishment.

Cleared the blockage & refilled the redbird feeders. Put up another suet block as well.

Watered everything in the greenhouse.

Made a batch of cinnamon roll cookies for our dessert. Time consuming but Mrs Ranch like them...

Mrs. Ranch finished her template for the new sign.

It's 62 degrees & raining here this morning (0.71" thus far).

Vacuum packed the hamburger patties.

Mrs. Ranch got all the outlines done (using her template) on the new sign, so she's ready to start painting.

Did the weekly shopping & picked up a load of cattle feed.

Fed the cattle & put out a roll of hay. It was a chilly 52 degrees, but at least it was sunny.
